En el cine, la radio, la televisión, la prensa, en la calle… Recibimos continuamente mensajes publicitarios. Muchos nos incitan al consumo; otros, en cambio, nos invitan a adoptar determinadas actitudes, como cuidar el medio ambiente o conducir con prudencia.

La publicidad es una forma de comunicación persuasiva que pretende informar y, sobre todo, convencer a los destinatarios para que actúen de una forma determinada.

Planifica una campaña publicitaria

¿Te atreves a planificar una campaña de publicidad? Entra en esta página web y diseña la campaña de una producto. Inventa una marca, un buen eslogan y decide en qué medio de comunicación lo mostrarás.

Analizing a TV advertisement (advert or ad or commercial)

Pay attention to the following TV advert and complete the following activities. 

Activity 1: Fill in the blanks of the transcript.

Activity 2: What are the professions mentioned in the video? Write their meaning.

Activity 3: Now watch this other advertisement in English. Write the transcript in English using the subtitles in Spanish.

Activity 4: The last advertisement is about the future. Write a description of the future inventions mentioned using the structure: There will be …

Activity 5: Analize the three advertisements, answering the following questions.

  1. What product is being advertised?
  2. What trademark or brand is advertised?
  3. What is the media?
  4. Where and when can the ad appear? (poster, television, film, radio or magazine)?
  5. Where is it set in space and time?
  6. What is the slogan?
  7. What is the message of the slogan?
  8. What is the intended audience?
  9. Who are the participant? What are they doing? 
  10. Which features are foregrounded and which are backgrounded?

Analyse d’une pub

Choisissez une publicité sur le site suivant:

Présentez-la sur une présentation en powerpoint, analysez-la en suivant les questions proposées page 7 et réinventez-la pour qu’elle ne soit plus sexiste.

PROYECTO INTERDISCIPLINAR: ELABORACIÓN DE UN ANUNCIO

En grupo diseñaréis un anuncio en inglés y otro en español para mostrar los peligros al navegar por Internet de manera no segura. Debéis tener en cuenta todo lo aprendido en esta unidad.

  • Podréis elegir un póster digital o bien un vídeo.
  • Tenéis que inventar un buen eslogan y dar consejos para la navegación segura por Internet.
  • Debéis ser originales, breves y utilizar los recursos lingüísticos mencionados.
  • Se valorará más que creéis vuestras propias imágenes y vídeos.
  • Evita los roles sexistas y estereotipos que normalmente encontramos en publicidad.
  • No olvidéis incluir en el proyecto vuestros nombres y apellidos.
